Why is DDoS attack so dangerous?

DDoS (Distributed Denial-of-Service) attack – Explanation

The distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack is a cyberthreat that uses resource capacity restrictions for each network resource. Therefore, its primary goal is to compromise crucial targets, like a system, network, or server. The DDoS assault floods the targeted online site with requests. The intention is to overburden the website’s capacity completely. As a result, the target is unable to manage all of the requests, and regular users would be unable to access the website.

DDoS attacks frequently target websites for online shopping or various kinds of businesses that provide online services.

Private DNS server – Definition & Details

Our topic today is the Private DNS server. Have you ever heard something about it? If not, don’t worry. You have come to the right place. Today we will explore its main purpose and why it is so beneficial. But first, before we go on to the Private DNS server, let’s define the Domain Name System (DNS).

What is DNS?

The Domain Name System, or DNS for short, is a decentralized namespace that is organized. Its major goal is to help users browse inquiries, discover the host they’re looking for, and respond swiftly. The DNS was created in the 1980s to replace the wasteful HOSTS.txt file, which contained all of the current hosts. Because of its scalability and speed, DNS is superior.

In a nutshell, DNS is a service that maps domain names to IP addresses and may also be used to map services to hosts, verify distinct hosts and services, and so on.

rDNS: What is it and how does it work?

The rDNS (Reverse DNS) process is only one aspect of the Domain Name System’s operation. The purpose is to connect an IP address to a domain name. It’s a tool that can be used in both the IT and business fields.

rDNS – meaning

As we know, DNS is the process by which we use a domain name to reach its corresponding IP address. Reverse Domain Name System or rDNS is a procedure where you use the IP address to get information about the domain name. So this process is the opposite of standard DNS resolution.
